How to speed up recovery: If you or your child have a severely blocked nose, use the nasal washer with a physiological saline solution (0.9% NaCl) first. This will clear out mucus, allergens, and bacteria, opening up the airways. Only after clearing the nasal passages should you proceed with the main nebulizer treatment. This ensures the medication travels deeply and unobstructed into the lungs, maximizing its therapeutic effect.

It is strictly forbidden to use essential oils, oil-based solutions, or herbal decoctions containing solid particles in compressor nebulizers. Doing so will instantly ruin the device and poses a severe health risk to the patient (lipid pneumonia). Can this nebulizer be used for infants? Yes, the device itself is safe for early ages (when using prescribed medications). However, the included pediatric mask is best suited for toddlers and children from 1-2 years old. For newborns and infants, we highly recommend purchasing an additional OMRON infant mask from our store.

How often should I change the compressor air filter? To maintain optimal air pressure and protect the compressor motor, replace the air filter every 60 days of regular use, or as soon as it turns grey or discolored. Original replacement filters are always available at Axios.lv.
